What You Will Learn
In this program, you will become a master of the 5 Voices. You will also learn how to deliver 5 powerful workshops that are all built on the foundation of the 5 Voices tool. Each week, you’ll learn a new piece that builds on the previous week. Each box below gives an overview of each week’s content and objective.
Week #1
Discovering Your Leadership Voice
During this module, you’ll go on a personal journey of learning your own leadership voice as a participant. We start here because we fundamentally believe that you can’t lead others until you first lead yourself. Module 1 is all about your self-awareness.
Week #2
Mastering the Voices
During this module, you’ll do a deep dive into each of the voices. Learn the nuances of each voice, what makes them unique, and how to begin using them in a coaching, consulting or training context.
Week #3
Delivering Workshop #1
Workshop 1: Discover Your Leadership Voice
This is where you start learning how to deliver the 5 Voices. In this first workshop, you will help others learn the behaviors and value of each of the 5 Voices and identify the natural Voice they use in their team or at home.
Week #4
Delivering Workshop #2
Workshop 2: The Power of Your Voice
In this module, you’ll learn how to deliver workshop #2. Workshop topic: “Celebrate the contribution your Voice brings and learn the negative impact your Voice can have on others.”
Week #5
Delivering Workshop #3
Workshop 3: The Art of Collaboration
In this module, you’ll learn how to deliver workshop #3. Workshop topic: “Get the best from each person in your team by learning to leverage and trust the strengths of their Voice.”
Week #6
Delivering Workshop #4
Workshop 4: Optimizing Team Performance
In this module, you’ll learn how to deliver workshop #4. Workshop topic: “Learn how to create team alignment and synergy by harnessing the contribution of all 5 Voices.”
Week #7

Workshop 5: Team Kryptonite
In this module, you’ll learn how to deliver workshop #5. Workshop topic: “Apply practical tools to avoid the five main reasons why your team will not achieve its potential.”
Week #8
Getting Activated
In this module, you will be equipped with tools and resources to hit the ground running as you go out and begin leveraging the 5 Voices to create transformation in your world.

On average, expect to spend between 6-8 hours per week, including training calls, study, and practice applying and implementing what you are learning. Week 1 is slightly less than this average while Week 2 is the most in-depth week and requires more time than this. But the rest of the weeks average between 6-8 hours.
We understand life and work get hectic. So if you have to miss a couple of calls then no worries from our end. Of course, like with many things in life, you get out of it what you put into it! So we would encourage you to do your best to make every call because each one will help you take the depth of your learning, insight, and application to a new level. But we will also provide recordings of the calls to help you get the most out of your course and certification, even if you have to miss a number of the calls.
You will receive a Certificate of Completion diploma, and you will receive an official GiANT University badge, "5 Voices Certified", which you can add to your credentials.
Yes! During the course, you will study and practice with PDF materials as we want you to “imitate before you innovate.” But once you’ve completed the course, you will receive editable files at the end of the certification so that you can customize the material to fit your unit or context (giving appropriate credit of course, but you’ll get guidelines on that as well). You will have access to these materials for as long as your certification remains current.
Absolutely! Not only is the 5 Voices a tremendous tool for your personal leadership and development, but it’s actually designed to be a system for you to be able to use with your team, organization, and even your family. So we believe it’s important for you to be able to share what you are learning and doing with any significant stakeholder in your life - whether your commanding officer, your peers, or your spouse and family.

Becoming a 5 Voices Certified Coach has changed my perspective on the usefulness of personality assessments in improving team dynamics. I have always seen value there before, but the 5 Voices is the first approach that provides specific insight into how each of us fit into team dynamics overall, where we can be overlooked or overrun, and where we can cause benefit or harm. It is multidimensional in its analysis, interpretation, and application, providing specific tips for improving our understanding of ourselves and others, while still being fairly simple in its language and overall presentation. It easily provides value at initial exposure and continues to deepen that value at each further level of understanding. I learned more in the few months of this training about myself and how to be more cognizant in dealing with my own impact challenges than I have in working with MBTI and other assessments for years.

Thorough, Practical and Immediately Helpful
EVERYTHING IS SHEER VALUE FOR ALL!
Otherwise, the best way I can describe the value is in the way it filled a hole for me in my consulting work. I am DiSC and Myers-Briggs certified as well, and when I have work with these tools in teams there have been great insights and applications...as long as I am around to help translate the tool. To me this is a seriously limiting factor to the really transformative value of either of those personality indicators. 5 Voices accomplishes the primary result the other two could not—a truly unifying common vernacular around leadership, navigating communication gaps, success, and how to help each other grow. I'd been on the lookout for a tool like this and they provided it. As so much better that it has the data of MBTI to back it up.
The other massive upside to working with GiANT is that they think of all angles to empower your and your client's success: from ongoing coaching during the training that is so valuable, to practical marketing tools so you don't have to start from scratch, to continuing resources so you can refresh and get better at using all the tools consistently, it is an investment that continues to add value the further you dive into it.

Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to have support from my supervisors and organizations to participate in multiple leadership development and growth initiatives. When I first encountered GiANT and the 5 Voices system, I was truly blown away.
